About
Built by people who know what a missed policy change costs
CLV Intelligence exists because reimbursement policy changes constantly — and the people responsible for coding and billing accuracy too often find out after a claim has already been denied.
Why we built this — and why we can
CLV Intelligence was founded by Michael Peck, who spent nearly 15 years in medical device — at companies including Ventana Medical Systems, Roche Diagnostics, Zimmer Biomet, and GenMark Diagnostics — across cancer diagnostics, orthopedics, and infectious disease. In that world, reimbursement is the business: whether a test or device gets paid for comes down to CMS coverage, coding, and contractor policy that shifts continuously.
He built CLV Intelligence because the professionals who manage that exposure every day — clinical coders, billing managers, and compliance officers — had no efficient way to keep up with it. The platform was engineered to run autonomously: automated data ingestion, AI-assisted signal scoring, and scheduled delivery, so the monitoring never lapses.

The problem we solve
CMS and its contractors publish thousands of policy updates, LCD revisions, fee schedule changes, and contract amendments every year. No coder or revenue cycle manager can track all of it by hand — and a missed change becomes a denied claim, a delayed reimbursement, or compliance exposure.
CLV Intelligence aggregates those signals daily — from CMS, MAC contractors, and the Federal Register — surfaces the ones most relevant to your specialty, and links every one back to its source document so you can verify and act with confidence.
What makes CLV different
Source-first, always
Every alert links directly to the originating government document — not a summary, not an interpretation. You see the source, you make the call.
Signal scored, not just sorted by date
Alerts are scored on recency, effective-date urgency, source authority, and alert type. Critical signals surface above routine updates.
Built around ICD-10 and HCPCS
The code lookup tool connects your query directly to the NLM Clinical Tables API — free, authoritative, and linked to CMS and CDC source documentation.
No PHI, no compliance liability
CLV Intelligence processes only publicly available government data. No patient data enters the platform — healthcare procurement teams can evaluate without a BAA.
CLV: a platform for highly regulated industries
CLV is the platform — built for highly regulated industries, where a single rule or code change can move the bottom line, and staying compliant means watching those changes continuously.
CLV Intelligence — Reimbursement Intelligence is our first product: live policy tracking, AI-powered impact analysis, and audit-ready exports for medical coders and revenue cycle managers. Additional regulated industries are on our roadmap.
Where the data comes from
CLV Intelligence draws exclusively from publicly available government and regulatory sources:
- Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)
- Medicare Administrative Contractors (MAC)
- Federal Register
- NLM Clinical Tables API — ICD-10-CM & HCPCS
- CMS Medicare Coverage Database (LCDs & NCDs)
