Referral & Commission Program

20% of gross subscription revenue per referred client.

Gross means the full amount charged to your referred client before any Stripe processing fees. You are paid on what the client pays, not on our net.

First 12 consecutive months following a client's initial paid subscription.

The 12-month window begins on the date of the client's first successful payment. If they cancel and resubscribe later, the window does not restart — only new first-time subscribers count.

20% of the purchase price, flat, for every referred audit pack sale.

Tripwire Audit Pack ($349) earns $69.80. Premium Audit Pack ($1,499) earns $299.80. Confirmed immediately upon checkout — not subject to the 12-month subscription window.

60 days from the prospect's first click of your referral link.

A 60-day first-touch cookie is set when someone visits CLV Intelligence via your unique link. If they subscribe any time within those 60 days, you receive full credit. Healthcare procurement decisions often take weeks — 60 days reflects that reality.

Commission is marked Pending immediately when a subscription checkout completes.

Pending commissions are visible in your dashboard but not yet eligible for disbursement.

Commission moves to Confirmed once the referred client's first invoice successfully processes.

This typically occurs within 24 hours of checkout for most subscriptions. Confirmed commissions are queued for the next monthly disbursement cycle.

Disbursed to your nominated bank account via ACH transfer.

Disbursements are processed on the first business day of each calendar month for all Confirmed balances as of the last day of the prior month.

No minimum. All confirmed balances are disbursed regardless of amount.

There is no floor. A $9.80 commission from a single Solo referral — the smallest one this program can produce — is paid in full.

If a referred client upgrades to a higher plan within their 12-month window, your commission adjusts to reflect the new plan rate from the upgrade date.

Example: a client referred on Standard ($299/mo) who upgrades to Team ($1,199/mo) in month 4 generates Standard-rate commission for months 1–3 and Team-rate commission for months 4–12.

Commission accrual stops at the end of the billing period in which a referred client cancels.

You are not charged back for commissions already Confirmed or Paid. Only future, unearned commission months are forfeited.

If a referred client's payment is refunded or reversed, the commission on that payment is reversed too.

Commissions still Pending or Confirmed are reversed automatically and drop out of your balance. A commission already Paid to you is NOT silently clawed back — it is flagged for review and we contact you before any adjustment. Partial refunds reverse the whole commission for that payment, since the revenue it was calculated from is no longer accurate.

Lab, Agency and Enterprise are not automatically commissioned.

These plans are quoted and closed on a call rather than bought self-serve, so there is no automatic attribution for them. If you source one of these deals, tell us before the call and we will agree the commission with you in writing. Self-serve plans (Solo, Alpha Cohort, Standard, Practice and Team) and audit packs are commissioned automatically as described above.

A partner does not earn commission on their own subscription or purchase.

Purchases made by the partner's own account through their own referral link are not commissionable. This is checked automatically at the moment a commission would be recorded, so no such commission is ever created or shown in your dashboard.

CLV Media reserves the right to terminate partnership for violation of program terms or conduct inconsistent with professional healthcare industry standards.
