What changed

On November 20, 2017, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) awarded National Government Services (NGS) a new contract for the administration of the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) Front End Common Electronic Data Interchange (CEDI) contract for Jurisdictions A, B, C and D. CMS anticipates that implementation of the new contract will go smoothly, with few, if any, service issues for Medicare beneficiaries, suppliers and trading partners.
