Contract Award for A/B MAC Jurisdiction 15

Policy J15-2023-FACT-SHEET · Multi-specialty

Routine

On November 30, 2023, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced CGS Administrators, LLC (CGS) has been awarded a new contract for the administration of Medicare Fee-for-Service claims for Part A and Part B. in Jurisdiction 15. The Jurisdiction 15 A/B Medicare Administrator (MAC) serves Medicare beneficiaries who reside in the states of Kentucky and Ohio. This contract will also administer Medicare home health and hospice (HH+H) FFS claims in the states of Colorado, Delaware, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wyoming and the District of Columbia. As CGS is the incumbent contractor for this jurisdiction, CMS anticipates that implementation of the new contract will go smoothly, with few, if any, service issues for Medicare beneficiaries and providers.
